Meet Meghan Ketterman
Owner and Founder of Oconee Hospitality
She is a native to Oconee County where she was raised on her family’s beef cattle farm and gained the true value of a hands-on approach to business. She continues to be very involved in the preservation of her family farm, ensuring the protection of the values and heritage of Oconee County. Meghan taught high school agriculture for six years before entering a corporate career and now her own business. In 2017, she and her husband Jared listed their first short-term rental property, which led them to continue to invest in and preserve properties and create spaces for others to enjoy.

Our story and values
A native to the area, Meghan Ketterman founded Oconee Hospitality LLC, a luxury home management company that focuses exclusively on short-term rentals in the beautiful foothills mountain lake region of Oconee County.
Meghan and her husband Jared opened their first short-term rental in October 2017 and have continued to learn, grow, and develop their businesses. They have since expanded, helping other vacation homeowners offer the best guest experience.
Meghan and Jared love creating and designing spaces for guests that draw them back time and time again. Whether your home is tucked away on a cove of Lake Keowee, nestled in the foothills, or positioned on the expansive mountains, Meghan puts her personal touch in everything from communicating with your guests, offering design services, and personalizing the first impression when a guest arrives.
Meghan and Jared reside in Mountain Rest with their two dogs, Smurfy and Molly. In her spare time, you can find Meghan canning vegetables, working on her family farm, rehabbing thrift store furniture, paddle boarding on the lake, and spending time with friends and family.
For over six years, they have personally hosted thousands of guests from all corners of the world. As a 16-time Airbnb Superhost, Meghan maintains a 4.95-star rating with over 1,000 reviews. Meghan excels in communicating with guests from initial inquiry to checkout, ensuring guests have a great experience and want to return. For homeowners, the goal is to ensure your property is cared for as our own and that guests book with you time and time again. We provide transparent access to occupancy and monthly revenue reports for your investment.
